Sonja Glöckner
I am a senior global marketing executive with experience across organizations, agencies, and sponsors in a variety of sports. As a former Octagon and FIFA senior executive and founder of Sonja Glöckner Marketing Consultancy, I advise rights holders and premium brands on sports business strategy, major events, and sponsorship optimization. I also serve as CEO of Glöckner & Company GmbH & Co. KG and am a shareholder of SGS–Agency, combining strategic insight with impactful campaigns across sports, lifestyle, and entertainment.
All my work is united by a commitment to quality, collaboration, and tailored solutions, ensuring lasting impact for clients and partners.
I hold a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of Passau, where I also researched the commercialization of professional football. I continue to be driven by the belief that sport creates meaningful connections and by curiosity for what new ideas, partnerships, and opportunities lie ahead.
